BSc in Economics and Business Administration

In progress

University of Southern Denmark

Moving to Denmark gave me the opportunity to start a new chapter, both personally and professionally. Although returning to university meant starting again in many ways, education has always been something I value, and I saw it as an opportunity to build on the experience I had already gained rather than leave it behind.

Choosing Economics and Business Administration at the University of Southern Denmark felt like a natural continuation of my professional background. Having spent several years working with sales, clients and business projects, I had already discovered how much I enjoy the commercial side of a company. My studies now give me the opportunity to understand the theory behind many of the decisions and situations I previously encountered in practice, while also introducing me to areas of business I have not yet had the chance to explore professionally.

The programme provides a broad foundation in business economics while placing particular emphasis on international business and the challenges companies face in a global environment. I am currently entering my third semester, and I am excited to continue expanding my knowledge and connecting what I learn at university with the experience I already bring from the workplace.

Bachelor’s in Social Work Management

Kolping University of Applied Sciences, Lithuania

My first bachelor’s degree was in Social Work Management at Kolping University of Applied Sciences in Lithuania. The programme focused on understanding people in difficult social situations and learning how professional support can help them regain independence and participate more fully in society. It also introduced the broader systems behind social work and how social services are organised and managed.

The programme had a strong practical side, which gave me the opportunity to apply what I was learning outside the classroom. It also taught me how to approach complex situations from both a human and professional perspective — understanding the individual while also considering the circumstances and systems around them.

I completed the programme with my Bachelor’s thesis being recognised among the best final works of my graduating year. For me, this was a meaningful conclusion to the degree and recognition of the research and work I had put into my final project.
